Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mom has been living at The Westchester House for a few months now, and we are so happy with her care. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they always go above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and happy. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and has a warm and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend The Westchester House to anyone looking for a safe and supportive environment for their loved one.

The Westchester House has been a great place for my dad since he moved in. He enjoys the activities and the friendly staff. The food is good, and the rooms are comfortable. The only downside is that the parking can be a bit limited, but overall, we're very satisfied.
