Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

I am so grateful for the care my grandmother received at Clark's Mountain Nursing Center. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, always going above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and happy. The facility itself was clean and inviting, and the activities were a great way for her to stay engaged and socialize with other residents.

My father has been living at Clark's Mountain for a few months now, and I couldn't be happier with the care he's receiving. The nurses and aides are so patient and caring, and they really take the time to get to know each resident. The food is delicious and the activities are always fun and engaging. It's a real home away from home for him!

While the staff at Clark's Mountain is friendly and helpful, I did find some inconsistencies in the level of care my mother received. Sometimes she would get the attention she needed right away, but other times it would take a while for someone to respond to her call light. Overall, it's a decent facility, but I wish the care was more consistently excellent.
