Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been at Aurora Health and Rehabilitation for a few months now, and I'm very happy with the care she's received. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they've really helped her improve her mobility. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is actually pretty good.

I was impressed with the level of care and professionalism at Aurora Health and Rehabilitation. The therapists are highly skilled and really listen to their patients. The activities program is great, and it keeps the residents engaged and active. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone looking for rehabilitation services.

The staff at Aurora Health and Rehabilitation is kind and helpful, but I did find some inconsistencies in the level of care. Sometimes the residents get more attention than others, and the communication with the family could be better. Overall, it's a decent facility, but I'm not sure if it's the best in the area.
