Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The Southwest Montana Veterans Home is an absolute gem. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and the home itself is spotless and welcoming. My father has been living here for a few months now, and he's thriving. The activities and social programs keep him engaged, and he's made some wonderful new friends. I highly recommend this facility to any veteran seeking a comfortable and caring home.

I'm so grateful for the Southwest Montana Veterans Home. My grandfather has been receiving excellent care here, and I feel confident knowing he's in good hands. The staff is always responsive to our concerns, and they go above and beyond to make sure he's comfortable and happy. The only downside is that the dining options could be a bit more varied.

The Southwest Montana Veterans Home provides a decent level of care, but it's not perfect. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but the common areas could use a bit of an update. The activities are okay, but there could be more options to keep residents engaged. Overall, it's a decent place, but I've seen better.
