Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Cedar Hills for a few months now, and we've been very impressed with the care she's received. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they really go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable and happy. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is good too.

I was so relieved to find Cedar Hills for my father. He needed skilled nursing care after his surgery, and they provided everything he needed to recover well. They were patient and supportive, and I felt confident that he was in good hands.

Cedar Hills is okay, but I've noticed some inconsistencies in the level of care. Some staff members are great, but others seem less engaged. Overall, it's a decent facility, but I think there's room for improvement.
