Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been a resident at Piedmont Hills for a few months now, and we've been very impressed. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged. We highly recommend Piedmont Hills to anyone looking for a caring and supportive environment for their loved ones.

The care at Piedmont Hills seems adequate, but I have noticed some inconsistencies with the level of attention my father receives. Some staff members are wonderful, but others seem less engaged. The facility itself is nice, but the food could be better. Overall, it's a decent option, but I'm not sure it's the best in the area.

My aunt was in need of rehabilitation after her surgery, and Piedmont Hills was the perfect choice. The therapists were excellent and helped her regain her strength and mobility. The staff was incredibly supportive and made her feel like she was part of a family. We were so grateful for the care she received!
