Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at Barbour Court is incredibly kind and attentive. They truly care about the residents and make them feel like family. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is good. I would recommend Barbour Court to anyone looking for a caring and supportive environment for their loved one.

Barbour Court is a decent facility, but I've had some issues with communication. I wish they would be more proactive in keeping families informed about their loved one's progress. However, the nurses are helpful and the activities program seems to be engaging for the residents.

My grandmother has been living at Barbour Court for a few months now, and we are so happy with the care she's received. The staff is wonderful, and she's made some good friends. The facility is clean and comfortable, and they do a great job of making sure the residents are engaged and active. I highly recommend Barbour Court!
