Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My parents have been living at the Good Samaritan Society - Auburn for a few years now, and we couldn't be happier with their care. The staff is wonderful, always so kind and attentive. The community itself is beautiful and clean, and the activities keep my parents engaged and happy. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a safe and supportive environment for their loved ones.

We were looking for a place where my grandmother could receive the care she needed, but also feel comfortable and happy. The Good Samaritan Society - Auburn fit the bill perfectly. The staff is very caring and attentive, and the community offers a lot of activities that keep my grandmother engaged and active. The only thing I would change is the food, which could be a little more flavorful. Overall, a great place for seniors.

The Good Samaritan Society - Auburn provides a good level of care and attention. The staff is generally helpful and responsive. The community itself is clean and well-maintained. However, there are some areas where improvements could be made, such as the availability of activities and the variety of food options. Overall, a decent place for senior living, but there is room for improvement.
