Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

We chose Maple Crest for my father because of their reputation for excellent care and their focus on individual needs. The staff is exceptional, always going above and beyond to ensure his well-being. My father is thriving at Maple Crest, and we are so grateful for the wonderful care he receives.

Maple Crest is a decent facility, but it could use some improvement in terms of communication. I've had a few issues with getting updates on my mother's condition, but overall, the staff is friendly and helpful. The activities could be more varied, but my mother enjoys the ones that are offered.
