Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Omaha Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the past year, and we've been very happy with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable and well taken care of. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and there's a nice variety of activities to keep residents engaged.

I was worried about placing my mother in a nursing home, but I was pleasantly surprised by Omaha Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The staff is incredibly caring and compassionate, and they've created a warm and welcoming environment. My mother is thriving there, and I feel confident that she's receiving excellent care.

The care at Omaha Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is decent, but I've found that communication with the staff could be better. It can be difficult to get updates on my father's progress, and I wish there was more transparency in their care plans.
