Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Saint Teresa for several months now, and we're very pleased with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and they've really helped her regain her strength and independence. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged.

Saint Teresa is a decent facility overall, but I've noticed some inconsistencies in the care provided. Some staff members are excellent, while others seem less engaged. The food could also be improved, as it's often bland and repetitive. However, the facility is clean and the residents seem happy enough.
