Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother stayed at Plaza Healthcare for several months after a hip replacement. The staff was incredibly kind and patient, and they helped her regain her strength and mobility. The facilities were clean and comfortable, and the food was surprisingly good. I would definitely recommend Plaza Healthcare to anyone looking for a rehabilitation facility.

I was impressed with the level of care and attention my father received at Plaza Healthcare. The nurses were always available, and the therapists worked diligently to help him recover. The activities and social programs kept him engaged and active, which helped him stay positive during his recovery.

The staff at Plaza Healthcare was friendly, but I felt like there wasn't enough individual attention for my grandfather. There were times when he had to wait for assistance, and some of the activities were not very engaging for him. Overall, it was an okay experience, but I would have preferred more personalized care.
