Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Laurel Bay for a few months now, and I've been very impressed with the care she's received. The staff are kind and attentive, and they really go the extra mile to make her feel comfortable and cared for. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities for residents to participate in. I highly recommend Laurel Bay to anyone looking for a quality care facility.

Overall, I'm satisfied with Laurel Bay. The staff are competent, and my father seems happy there. However, there have been some issues with communication and scheduling. I wish they were more proactive in keeping families informed. The food could also be improved.
