Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Mystic Meadows for a few months now and we are very happy with the care she receives. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make her feel comfortable. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged.

We chose Mystic Meadows for my father after he had a stroke. The rehabilitation program was excellent and helped him regain his strength and mobility. The staff was very supportive and encouraging throughout his recovery, and we felt confident that he was in good hands.

The care at Mystic Meadows is good, but I've noticed some inconsistencies in the level of attention residents receive. Some staff members are fantastic, while others seem less engaged. Overall, it's a decent facility, but could benefit from some improvements in staff training and consistency.
