Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

I moved my parents into Lantern Hill a few years ago, and it's been a wonderful experience. The staff is incredibly caring and attentive, and the facilities are top-notch. My parents are happy and engaged, and I feel confident that they are receiving the best possible care.

Lantern Hill is a beautiful community with a lot to offer. The dining options are excellent, and there are always plenty of activities to keep residents engaged. I do wish there were more options for transportation, but overall, it's a great place to live.

While the staff at Lantern Hill is generally friendly and helpful, I have found the communication to be lacking at times. It's important to stay on top of things and advocate for yourself or your loved one. The cost is also quite high, which is something to consider.
