Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at CareOne at Wayne for a few months now, and we're very happy with the care she's receiving. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they've really made an effort to make her feel comfortable and at home. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and the food is decent. Overall, we're very satisfied with the level of care and would recommend CareOne at Wayne to others.

The staff at CareOne at Wayne is generally good, but there have been times when communication could be better. We've also noticed some inconsistencies in the level of care, but overall, the facility is decent. The location is convenient, and the rooms are comfortable enough. We're hoping to see some improvements in the future, particularly regarding communication and consistency in care.
