Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Stratford Manor for a few months now, and we're very happy with her care. The staff is kind and attentive, and they really go the extra mile to make her feel comfortable and cared for. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities for residents to participate in.

My mother was recovering from a hip replacement, and Stratford Manor was the perfect place for her. The physical therapy team is excellent, and she made great progress. The staff was also very helpful with her daily needs and made her feel like she was part of a family.

The staff at Stratford Manor is friendly and helpful, and the facility is generally clean. However, I have noticed some inconsistency in the quality of care. Sometimes the staff seems rushed, and I've had to advocate for my father on a couple of occasions.
