Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Fort Bayard Medical Center for a few months now, and we're so happy with the care she's receiving. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable and well-cared for. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the social activities keep her engaged and happy.

I highly recommend Fort Bayard Medical Center! My father received excellent care here after his surgery. The nurses and doctors were all very skilled and compassionate. The food was also surprisingly good, and the facility is beautiful. I would definitely choose this center for my family.
