Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at The Commons on St. Anthony for a few months now, and we've been so impressed with the care she's received. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they always go above and beyond to make sure she's comfortable and happy. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged. I would definitely recommend The Commons to anyone looking for a quality skilled nursing facility.

While the staff at The Commons on St. Anthony is generally friendly and helpful, there have been a few instances where communication could have been better. The facility itself is nice, but some of the common areas could use some updating. Overall, it's a decent facility, but there's room for improvement.
