Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been a resident at Eastchester Rehabilitation and Health Care Center for several months, and we've been very impressed with the care she's received. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and the facility is clean and well-maintained. They've really gone above and beyond to make sure my mother feels comfortable and cared for. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality care for their loved ones.

I was hesitant about placing my father in a nursing home, but after visiting Eastchester Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, I was immediately reassured. The staff is so compassionate and dedicated, and they truly care about their residents. My father has been making great progress in his therapy sessions, and he's happy and engaged in the activities they offer. I'm so grateful for the excellent care he's receiving.

The facility itself is nice and well-kept, but I've had some concerns about the level of communication from the staff. Sometimes it's difficult to get updates on my grandmother's progress, and I feel like I need to chase them for information. Overall, though, the care she's receiving seems good, and she enjoys the social activities.
