Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Crown Heights Center for a few months now, and we've been very pleased with the care she's received. The staff is attentive and kind, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged.

The facility is decent, but there are some areas that could be improved. The food is sometimes bland, and I wish there were more options for residents with dietary restrictions. However, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere is positive.

I highly recommend Crown Heights Center! My father was recovering from a stroke, and the therapists were fantastic. They helped him regain his strength and mobility, and they were always encouraging and supportive. The nurses were also very caring and attentive.
