Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been at Yorktown for a few months now, and we are so grateful for the care she has received. The staff is always kind and attentive, and they go above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and happy. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is delicious. I would highly recommend Yorktown to anyone looking for a loving and supportive environment for their loved one.

Yorktown is a decent facility, but I have had some issues with communication. Sometimes it's hard to get in touch with the staff, and I feel like I need to be more proactive than I should have to. The activities are a little limited, but my mom does enjoy the ones they have. Overall, it's a good option if you're looking for a comfortable place for your loved one.
