Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Valley View Center for the past year, and we've been very impressed with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable and happy. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities for residents to participate in.

I was a little hesitant about placing my dad in a nursing home, but Valley View Center has been a godsend. They have a fantastic team of nurses and therapists who have helped him regain his strength and mobility after his stroke. The facility is warm and welcoming, and the food is surprisingly good!

While the staff at Valley View Center is friendly, I've found the communication to be a bit inconsistent. It would be helpful if there was a more organized system for keeping family members updated on their loved ones' progress. Overall, it's a decent facility, but it could use some improvements.
