Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Maple City for a few months now, and we've been very happy with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always make sure she's comfortable and well-looked after. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the activities they offer keep her engaged and entertained.

Maple City is a decent facility, but there have been some issues with communication and scheduling. We've had to follow up a few times to get updates on my grandfather's progress, and there have been some delays in scheduling appointments. Overall, the care has been good, but there's room for improvement in communication and organization.
