Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been a resident at Regal Heights for the past year, and we've been very pleased with the care she's received. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they go above and beyond to make sure she's comfortable and happy. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged. I highly recommend Regal Heights to anyone looking for a quality rehabilitation and long-term care facility.

Regal Heights is a decent facility, but it could be better. The staff is generally helpful, but there have been times when communication could be improved. The food is okay, but not exceptional. Overall, it's a good option for those in need of rehabilitation or long-term care, but it's not the best in the area.
