Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at The Hamlet were so kind and caring. My mother received excellent care and was always treated with respect. The facility was clean and well-maintained, and the activities were engaging and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend The Hamlet to others.

My father was recovering from a stroke and The Hamlet was the perfect place for him. The physical therapy was amazing and helped him regain his mobility. The nurses were attentive and compassionate. He made great friends and felt like he was part of a community.

The care was good overall but there were times when communication could have been better. I wish there were more activities for residents to participate in. However, the food was good and the staff were generally friendly.
