Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Dumont Center for a few months now and we are very happy with the care she is receiving. The staff is kind and attentive, and the facility is clean and well-maintained. I would definitely recommend this center to others.

I was so impressed with the level of care my father received at Dumont Center. The therapists were amazing, and they really helped him regain his strength after his surgery. The staff was so caring and compassionate, I felt like they were part of our family.

Overall, I have found Dumont Center to be a good place for my mother, although I wish there were more opportunities for social interaction and activities. The food could also be improved.
