Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Fort Tryon for a few months now, and we've been very happy with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and the facility is always clean and well-maintained. The activities they offer are also engaging and help keep her active.

I can't thank the staff at Fort Tryon enough for the care they provided my father during his rehabilitation. They were incredibly patient and supportive, and he made significant progress. The facility is also very comfortable and homey.

The care at Fort Tryon is good, but the food could be better. It's not always the most appealing, and there's not much variety. Otherwise, I'm happy with the staff and the services they provide.
