Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been at Cedar Manor for a few months now, and we are so happy with the care she is receiving. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they always go above and beyond to make sure she is comfortable and happy. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged. I would highly recommend Cedar Manor to anyone looking for a nursing home for their loved one.

Cedar Manor is a decent nursing home, but it could be better. The staff is generally friendly, but there have been a few times when I felt like my mother wasn't getting the attention she needed. The food could also be more varied. Overall, it's a decent place, but I'm not sure I would recommend it to others.
