Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at River View for the past year, and we are so happy with the care she has received. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to ensure her comfort and well-being. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the activities program is excellent. I highly recommend River View to anyone looking for a caring and supportive environment for their loved ones.

While the staff at River View is friendly and helpful, we have found that the communication could be improved. We sometimes have to follow up multiple times to get updates on our loved one's progress. Otherwise, the facility is clean and the activities are engaging.
