Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at Acadia Center is truly amazing! They are so kind, caring, and attentive to my grandmother's needs. She's been here for a few months now, and I feel so much peace of mind knowing she's in good hands. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and the food is surprisingly good!

While the care at Acadia is good overall, I've noticed some inconsistencies in communication from the staff. Sometimes it's difficult to get updates on my father's progress. However, the therapy services are excellent, and he's made great strides in his recovery.

My aunt has been living at Acadia Center for over a year now, and we couldn't be happier with her care. The staff is incredibly compassionate and goes above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and loved. The activities program is engaging, and she's made new friends. I highly recommend Acadia to anyone looking for a quality nursing facility.
