Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at Oneida Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing has been fantastic. They are so kind and caring, always going above and beyond to make sure my grandmother feels comfortable and well taken care of. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is surprisingly good. I would definitely recommend this center to anyone looking for quality care for a loved one.

My experience at Oneida Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing was mixed. The nursing staff was attentive and responsive to my needs, but there were times when I felt like I wasn't getting enough physical therapy. Overall, the facility is clean and comfortable, but there could be improvements in some areas, like the availability of social activities.
