Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

I was impressed with the level of care my grandmother received at Martine Center. The staff was so kind and attentive, and they really helped her regain her strength after her surgery. The facility itself was clean and comfortable, and they even had a nice garden where she could enjoy some fresh air.

I can't say enough good things about Martine Center. My father was there for a few months after a stroke, and they were amazing. The therapists helped him make great progress, and the nurses were so patient and caring. The food was also surprisingly good, and they even had a resident council that my father enjoyed participating in.
