Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother stayed at Austin Trace for a few months after a fall and I was so impressed with the care she received. The staff was always kind and attentive, and the therapists helped her regain her strength and mobility. I would definitely recommend this facility.

I've been living at Austin Trace for over a year now and I couldn't be happier. The staff is like family, and they always go above and beyond to make sure I'm comfortable and happy. The activities are fun and engaging, and I've made some great friends here.

The facility itself is nice, but I wish there were more options for meals. I also found the communication between the staff and residents to be a bit lacking at times.
