The Twin Towers, a monument to architectural brilliance and a symbol of New York City's skyline, were two 110-story skyscrapers that stood proudly in Lower Manhattan. Completed in 1973, these iconic towers, known officially as the North Tower and South Tower of the World Trade Center, were the tallest buildings in the world at the time. The North Tower, slightly taller than its twin, reached a height of 1,368 feet, while the South Tower stood at 1,362 feet. Constructed with a unique steel frame and clad in aluminum panels, the towers were marvels of engineering, accommodating over 50,000 employees in their vast office spaces. Each tower had a distinct design feature – the North Tower featured a television antenna, while the South Tower had a large, rectangular antenna. The Twin Towers were more than just office buildings; they were symbols of American power and ambition, attracting visitors from all over the world. They were a testament to the human capacity for innovation and a beacon of hope and progress. However, on September 11, 2001, the Twin Towers met a tragic end when they were destroyed in a terrorist attack, leaving an indelible mark on history and the city's collective memory. The Twin Towers remain a potent reminder of the resilience of the human spirit and the enduring legacy of a lost era....

Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

I was lucky enough to have worked in one of the towers before 9/11. It was an amazing place to work. The views were incredible and the people were friendly. I miss it every day.
