Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mother has been living at St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center for a few months now, and I couldn't be happier with the care she receives. The staff is incredibly caring and attentive, and they always go above and beyond to make sure my mother is comfortable and happy. The facility is clean and inviting, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged. I highly recommend St. Mary's to anyone looking for a compassionate and supportive environment for their loved ones.

The staff at St. Mary's is truly remarkable. They are patient, understanding, and always willing to go the extra mile. They treat my grandmother with respect and dignity, which is so important to me. The facility itself is well-maintained and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely recommend St. Mary's to anyone looking for a loving and supportive home for their loved one.

St. Mary's is a good option for dementia care, but it's not perfect. The staff is generally helpful, but there have been a few instances where I felt like my father wasn't getting the individual attention he needed. The activities are okay, but I wish there were more options available. Overall, it's a decent facility, but I'm not sure it's the best option for everyone.
