Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at Royal Oak Nursing & Rehab Center are truly amazing. They are so kind and compassionate, and they really go above and beyond to make sure my grandmother is well cared for. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the food is actually pretty good! I would highly recommend this center to anyone looking for a skilled nursing facility for their loved one.

I was a little concerned at first about moving my dad to a nursing home, but I was pleasantly surprised by Royal Oak. The staff seems very attentive and caring, and my dad seems happy there. The facility is a bit outdated, but it's clean and comfortable enough. The only thing I would change is the limited activity options. Overall, I'm satisfied with the care my dad is receiving.
