Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Buckeye Terrace for a few months now, and we're very happy with the care she's received. The staff is attentive, kind, and always willing to answer our questions. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities for residents to participate in.

The staff at Buckeye Terrace seems to be doing their best, but there have been some communication issues. I've had to follow up on things a few times, which can be frustrating. Overall, though, the care is decent, and my dad seems to be comfortable here.

This facility is truly a gem! The level of care and compassion is exceptional. The staff treats every resident with respect and dignity. My mother has been living here for a year now, and she's thriving. They have a wonderful activities program, and the food is surprisingly good.
