Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Southern Pointe for a few months now, and we are very happy with the care she's receiving. The staff is kind and attentive, and the facility is clean and well-maintained. The food is also pretty good!

Southern Pointe is an amazing place for seniors! The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming, and the staff truly cares about the residents. My mom loves the activities they offer, and she's made so many new friends.

The care at Southern Pointe is good, but I wish there were more activities for the residents to participate in. The facility itself is a little outdated, but overall, it's a decent place to live.
