Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Hobart Nursing & Rehabilitation for a few months now, and we are so happy with the care she has received. The staff is attentive, caring, and always willing to go the extra mile. They have made a difficult time for our family much easier.

I was impressed with the cleanliness and organization of the facility. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they seemed genuinely interested in the well-being of the residents. My aunt has been making progress in her rehabilitation, and I am grateful for the care she is receiving.

While the staff is friendly and caring, there have been some issues with communication. I've had to follow up a few times to get information about my father's care. Overall, it's a decent facility, but I wish communication was better.
