Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Walnut Grove for a few months now, and I'm so happy with the care she's receiving. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable and well taken care of. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and there's a real sense of community among the residents.

Walnut Grove is a decent facility, but it could use some improvements. The staff is friendly, but I've noticed some inconsistencies in the quality of care. The food is okay, but I wish there were more options. Overall, it's a good place to live, but it's not perfect.

I can't recommend Walnut Grove enough! My grandfather was there for several weeks after a hospital stay, and he made such great progress thanks to the wonderful therapy programs. The staff really went above and beyond to help him get back on his feet, and he was always treated with respect and dignity.
