Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Seminole Pioneer for a few months now, and we've been very impressed with the care she's received. The staff are kind and attentive, and they always go the extra mile to make sure she's comfortable. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the activities they offer are engaging and enjoyable.

The staff at Seminole Pioneer seem caring and attentive, but there have been a few instances where communication about my mother's care wasn't as clear as I would have liked. Overall, it's a decent facility, but I would recommend asking plenty of questions and being proactive about communication.
