Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My parents have been living at Marquis Vermont Hills for a few years now, and we are so happy with the care they receive. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and the community is very welcoming. The activities and social events keep them active and engaged, and they always have something to look forward to. Highly recommend!

The apartment itself is nice, but the real draw is the staff. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, from the nurses to the dining staff. They truly care about the residents and make them feel at home. The activities are a bit limited, but overall a very good experience.

The food is okay, but could be better. The community is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is mostly friendly and helpful. However, there are some issues with communication and follow-through that could be improved.
