Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at Laureldale was so kind and caring. My grandmother received excellent care and the therapists helped her regain her strength and mobility. The center is clean and well-maintained, and the food was surprisingly good.

My experience at Laureldale was mixed. The nurses were great, but I found some of the aides to be less attentive. The facility itself is a bit outdated, but the rooms were clean and comfortable.

I highly recommend Laureldale. My father received exceptional care during his stay. The staff was always responsive to his needs and the rehabilitation program helped him make a remarkable recovery.
