Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at The Summit for several months now, and we are so pleased with the care she has received. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and the facility is clean and well-maintained. My grandmother enjoys the activities and social events, and she has made new friends. I highly recommend The Summit to anyone looking for a nurturing and supportive environment for their loved ones.

I was impressed with The Summit from the moment I walked through the door. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and they took the time to explain everything to me in detail. The facility is beautiful and spacious, and the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. My father has been receiving excellent care, and I am confident that he is in good hands.

The Summit is a decent facility, but I have noticed some inconsistencies in the care provided. The staff is generally friendly, but there have been times when my mother's needs have not been met promptly. The food is also a bit bland and repetitive. Overall, I would say it's a decent option, but there are better facilities out there.
