Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

The staff at Oak Hill were so kind and helpful. My mom was there for rehab after her hip surgery and they really helped her get back on her feet. The therapists were great and the nurses were always attentive. The food was good, too! I would definitely recommend Oak Hill.

Oak Hill is a decent facility, but it could use some improvements. The rooms are a bit small and the hallways can be a bit crowded at times. However, the staff are friendly and the care is good. I would say it's a good option for short-term rehab but maybe not ideal for long-term care.
