Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been a resident at the Phoenix Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing for the past year, and we've been very pleased with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and they always go above and beyond to make sure she's comfortable and well cared for. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and the activities they offer keep her engaged and active.

I was hesitant to place my father in a nursing home, but the Phoenix Center has exceeded my expectations. The staff is incredibly compassionate and provides personalized care that has made a real difference in his quality of life. The therapy programs have helped him regain some of his mobility, and he's always happy and engaged in the activities. I'm so grateful for the care he's receiving.

While the staff at the Phoenix Center are generally friendly and helpful, I have noticed some inconsistencies in the level of care my mother receives. There are times when she doesn't get her medication on time, and the activities don't always seem to be tailored to her interests. However, they are responsive to concerns and are working to address these issues.
