Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at Sinking Spring for a few months now, and we've been very happy with the care she's received. The staff is kind and attentive, and they've done a great job helping her adjust to life in a new environment. The facility itself is clean and comfortable, and the food is surprisingly good!

The staff at Sinking Spring is generally helpful, but I've noticed some inconsistencies in the level of care my father has received. There are a few nurses who are exceptional, but others seem rushed and less engaged. The facility could benefit from additional staffing to ensure residents receive the best possible care.
