Based on a nursing home's performance on 3 sources: health inspections, staffing and quality measures.
Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My mom has been at Summit Commons for a few months now, and we're very happy with the care she's received. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they really go the extra mile to make sure my mom is comfortable and well-cared for. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged.

Summit Commons is a decent facility, but it could use some improvements. The food could be better, and there's not always enough staff on hand to assist residents immediately. However, the nurses and therapists are knowledgeable and compassionate, and they're always willing to answer any questions or concerns.

We were so impressed with Summit Commons from the moment we walked in. The staff was so welcoming and kind, and the facility was immaculate. My father received excellent care, and we're so grateful for the compassion and dedication of everyone at Summit Commons.
