Costs

Original Medicare typically covers short-term rehabilitation for up to 100 days (lifetime limit) following a hospital stay of at least three inpatient days or under specific qualifying circumstances, once your deductible is met. For long-term nursing home care, Medicaid may provide coverage after exhausting long-term care insurance and personal savings, depending on the facility. It's important to verify payment options and costs directly with the nursing home to ensure clarity and avoid unexpected expenses.

My grandmother has been living at the Good Samaritan Society – Miller for a few years now, and we couldn't be happier with the care she receives. The staff is so kind and attentive, and they truly go above and beyond to make sure she feels safe and comfortable. The community is very welcoming, and there are always activities and events happening to keep residents engaged. I highly recommend this facility.

This community is a true blessing. The staff is so compassionate and dedicated to providing the best possible care for their residents. My mother has been living here for a while, and she has thrived in this environment. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the food is delicious, and there are always plenty of activities to keep her busy. I have no doubt that my mother is in good hands here.

While the staff at the Good Samaritan Society – Miller is friendly and helpful, I've noticed some inconsistencies in the level of care provided. There have been times when my father hasn't received the attention he needed, and I've had to advocate for him. Overall, I'm satisfied with the community, but I think there is room for improvement.
